Go-karting
I have won two trophies, numerous medals, certificates, and professional racing equipment from my participation in different karting championships. A major turning point in my racing career was reached when I won a regional scouting championship and was sponsored to compete for a national motorsports team.
In addition, I drove a two-stroke race kart utilized in championship racing during a kart testing weekend with Peregrine Racing in Bangalore. My technical understanding of race kart engineering, setup, and performance tuning has increased as a result of my intimate interactions with mechanics and team members during this time.
TiE Rajasthan
One of Rajasthan's biggest entrepreneurship contests is held by TiE, which brings together young entrepreneurs to use their imagination and commercial acumen to address practical challenges. I oversaw a group that designed and presented a platform driven by AI to enhance maternal healthcare in rural Rajasthan.
Our approach used artificial intelligence (AI) to improve healthcare access, identify risks early, and close communication gaps between moms and medical professionals. Making it to the competition's Top 10 demonstrated the significance and viability of our concept.
I learned how to effectively sell an idea, lead a team under duress, and take an idea from concept to prototype from this experience. Above all, it reaffirmed how entrepreneurship and innovation can directly address pressing societal issues.
Wharton Global High-School Investment
As a member of a seven-person team, I competed in the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition, where we worked together to create a long-term investment plan. My job was to perform and record qualitative research of possible equities, looking beyond the numbers to assess company fundamentals, industry trends, and growth prospects.
I learned how to evaluate actual market situations, think critically about businesses, and properly convey my findings from this experience. As our varied skill sets came together to create a potent portfolio approach, it also served as a reminder of the value of teamwork. Beyond the realm of finance, the competition demonstrated how discipline, research, and teamwork promote wise choices.
